Thanks Kath for getting things up and going on this thread and for posting the list I put together earlier. Now we have a specific area to look for the nuts and bolts of our ballooning industry (maybe it should be just the bolts - the nuts seem to have been here all along)

Thanks also to Michael for creating this new category for us to use as a balloon community.

The 1 thing I don't like about mbd2 was the fact if I repeated a topic because I couldn't find it in search there would or 1 or 2 members sending me pms on search, I'm sure they are only trying to help but it made me fill unwelcome ( also not as good as they are)
The links are great but don't let that put any1 of posting a topic it's just a tool to help not a don't post as it's been covered. Thank you Dr Toonz for taking the time to sort it out and Kath for posting it here.
Just as another idea what about giving them titles so we know what part of crowd control is in the topic and so on?

Heavens! I don't think anyone would tell someone off on here for asking a question, whether or not it's been answered. Yeah, that's what I like about it here, too. People here are . . . not polite exactly, but kind, and tolerant of other people's shortcomings.

No, I just was frustrated because the business side of entertaining and balloons, etc. is something I think about a lot, and it takes up a lot of my time. That's why it's good to have a special category for it, so I don't have to go hunting for some knowledge that I'd like to have. Once people get used to using this category, it should be good for making it easy to find stuff. You still have to hunt through all the categories for previous posts, but from now on, they should mostly be in here.

OK, Dave, I'll have a look at each topic and give it a title, as I get time. I'm also doing some editing on Fedemelis's list, too. I translated it into English and asked Michael to make it "sticky" as I think it deserves to be at the top as a reference, along with the one-balloon thread. But, some of the links are a bit corrupted, and maybe some are dead, so I'll have to do some editing there.

As far as a subject being "already covered" - the last word has never been said on any subject - there's always more to discuss. Especially when you like talking as much as we all do! Wink
