The first picture is actually my boss's kid wearing his birthday cake - 3 tiers complete with 37 candles.
This was actually made almost 2 years ago but was just emailed the picture today - I've posted some of the other pictures before. our boss went on a business trip and was away for his birthday so we filled his cubicle with balloons and I made him a crazy hat and a birthday cake.
I've included pictures of his cubicle and hat as well

I have to agree that cake is awesome also how did the balloons not pop in that cubical with all thouse pens and such in there.

thanks - it uses the exact same technique as the basic cake - I started at the top and each level has 3 woven rows. If I didn't need the candles I'd have done the bubble "icing" on each level as well.
As for not popping - a couple did - lol

Cubicle full of balloons I LOVE IT!!!!!!! Awesome job that is the best balloon cake I've ever seen

the cake wasn't meant to be a hat - the bottom layer was too big - but my boss's daughter is resourceful - she just used the second layer and the first layer became the brim.
My boss told me that his kids played with the stuffed balloons for months!

How did you get it to last a month mine dont seem to last past a week or so. Also stuffed balloon?

30 water balloons blown up inside a larger (I believe it was an 18" round) clear balloon. It's pinned on the wall on the right hand side of the cubicle in the second set of pictures. For me the twisting balloons last about the same as you.
