DVD for kids

My son is about to turn 7 in 2 weeks. He is a gifted athlete, but has some developmental issues (namely around speach.) But he LOVES twisting balloons. I want to buy him a pump, some balloons, and a DVD for his birthday. What I was wondering is what would be the best introductory DVD for a kid in this scenario? I am looking for a DVD he can watch while I'm at work and practice along with. Any suggestions?

your best bet is to download a selection of youtube videos and put them on a dvd as far as i know most the dvds are more advanced things

No, there are DVDs for beginners.
Check your local library. That's where I found the best beginner stuff. Then you can take it back for no charge, or you can see where to buy it!

Dale the Balloon Dude has some good ones for beginners:
BallMagic-DVD 1-Balloon Magic Made Easy DVD
https://www.mbd2.com/online/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=178
He also did one himself that he does 10 simple figures on that I got from the library on an interlibrary loan.
There is also a pretty good one from Marvin Hardy.
This is a list I give to students when I teach them how to twist. These are some of my favorite sites with some simple balloon animals:

Here is the one with the ladybug:

The ideas so far sound great. Here in Japan, Qualatex sells a beginner kit consisting of a small double action hand pump, (not their own?), some 260s and a DVD. Of course it is in Japanese but the figures go from very simple to quite difficult. Do they not market a similar item in the US?

Let's twist again, like we did last summer!
