I was looking for an inexpensive pump which can inflate 160 and 260 and is easy-to-use for little hands of little girls. I will need 5-10 pumps for our girlsclub, but I have to watch the budget. Might this little 4$pump work? What do you think?

Or the QUALATEX SINGLE ACTION HAND PUMP? It´s really difficult, if you´ve never seen those pumps ...

Michaels (the craft store) has a balloon kit that comes with 20 balloon and a pump for $3. The balloons are crud, but the pump work ok if you have the patience to wait a minute to inflate a balloon. Works great for kids though, because it's easy to pump (and easily replaced)

I use the red single action pump from Qualatex for 160's all of the time and it is superb. I have several other hand pumps, but I like this the best.

Thank you for your review on this! I will have to order some because Michaels doesn´t have the item in (only seasonally and they are all gone)...

Well for 160's I like the Qualatex pocket pump but it doesn't work as well for 260's. But I have used it in a pinch. It has held up pretty good, I've had it for awhile. The cheepie yellow and red hand pumps I've bought in the department stores just haven't lasted very long. The tips on the ones I've bought were a little big for a 160.

I use the pocket pump for 160's and the purple dual action pump for the 260's and higher. In a pinch however the pocket pump works the red single action pump works for both as well, I simple know how many pumps I need for my sculptures with the other pump

Thank you! I think I will go for the red single action pump, if it works for both 160 and 260Q. It doesn´t matter if my girls will have to watch the balloon or pump some more - it´s just important that tehy can handle it and that the pump isn´t too expensive. HUG
