I have not finished watching this yet.....but it seems to be JUT AS GOOD as his other oones.  this one is more about what he calls "Wristables" or bracelet balloons. I like them more than "hats" myself because the kid can SEE the bracelet and adults like them also.

the cool thing is that they are small and easy to construct.  He designed it in a "modular" style so you can follow his designs...or branch out on your own.  Worth the $50!  yikes.....Gotta hide THAT from SWMBO!

I just got my copy this week, too and only watched the first bracelet design and already feel it is completely worth the $50! AWESOME. So many ideas from that simple modular design. Eventually I will watch the rest..

I sat and watched with my wife for a while today and I was riveted!   I came up with at least a dozen ideas of my own just using THAT simple set of designs!  the WHOLE IDEA of wrist friends is AWESOME!  I am not particularly fond of hats.  they are OK, but the wrist thing is simply TOO COOL!

I have to go through the whole thing more and more.  There are a lot of good ideas here!

Rats....missed your request.  But really it isn't all that much to "list"  Don shows a few basic ideas on how to do things in different ways and walks through one, then shows several others designed from teh same idea.  Buzz Light year is one, a Goblin, a ghost, a Snowman (or is that on the Christmas DVD, I forget)  Most use 5 inch hearts (or 6 inch, can't remember which it really is) in various colors.  but you can make a Gum Ball machine with a  clear.   In fact the base can be modified to a flower base and use a round or scrap of 350!  the Masks are OK too.  Lots of ideas.  I used a combination of Don's masks and Kenton Krueger's base mask to make "Fanged Monster" hats for kids last week at the Hockey Game.  VERY successful.

The trick here REALLY is that the more you find, the more you figure out on your own.  I find that the more I learn, The more creative I can be!

This si the best DVD yet for the aspiring balloon twister.

I love the idea of the wrist sculptures as they let you make a small quick simple balloon, that seems big complex.

This idea is the best of both world and is a real money maker.

I am sorry but I have to have my say here. I think that Vol.5 was a total waste of my money. I can not draw like Don can, I do not carry 10 different markers, I do not have 10 of so minutes to make a "simple squirrel bracelet".
I think that with all the art work Don does on this DVD it takes away from the balloons. If you are almost the best artist that you know this DVD is for you. If you are not good with drawing (like me) than stay away from this DVD and get a different one.

Actually, I am NOT a great artist.  I draw very little on the balloons, eyes, nose mouth, simple stuff and basic ability.  OH, I have done some cartooning in the past and all, but It is not something form y balloon work.

I understand your frustration Warren, But look beyond the marker work to the concepts that Don puts in.  the idea of using a 260 or 350 for a base then adding on to it as a wrist piece that can be adapted in som many ways.

It is the same as the Ken Stillman Hitch Hiker design.  It can be a lot of different things  depending on your choice of color and design.

I think Don C has gone a little over the edge on some of the drawing stuff, but that is HIS STYLE!  My style is just as effective and I use much less artwork
