I used 160's for the stems and no I didn't have instructions for this...I just knew the basic weaving concepts and tried something different. The vase was made completely with 160's and the flowers were a combo between 260's and 160's. Thanks for the compliment. I really needed the encouragement.
I found the topic on 25 Balloon Bracelets that was posted by Scott Tripp one of the members here. I made every single one according per his instructions without any trouble. I wanted to post a couple pics of some of the bracelets I made after I got the base concept of Scott's...
I just wanted to say thanks to scott for all the help and the creative boost.
Hi ya Mike...if you like balloons you are in the right place. I am still new but I have been on the site for a while. It is an awesome site and there are a lot of talented people here. Have fun and welcome.
Ok... this is my first attempt at making a animal without ANY base instructions. I needed a balloon shaped like a sugar glider. I have 6 of them and I am associated with a breeder that does fundraisers. This is my first design and my first attempt. If anyone has any ideas on how to improve the design I would appreciate suggestions...thanks all.
Ok...Here goes. I am a balloon artist. I have been twisting balloons since I was 13 at fundraisers for Girl Scouts of America. I have been advancing my skills and I am new to actually be part of the forum but not new to the site. I have been on here before and I have to say that I am very amazed by a lot of the artists here and all the things that they can teach. I hope to make lots of friends that are as big a kid at heart as I am because I love balloons, the colors and the face on a child when you make something they love. I am not good with intros but I hope this is ok. I hope to quite involved in the forum and with getting to know many of the twisters I have admired until now. Hope you all have a fabullus day..and it is great to be here...
